The Hemeroscopium House pushes the limits on what prefab architecture can be. The house is built from three giant concret I-beams, two concret segments of an irrigation canal and two steel girders, all anchored by a 20-ton granite slab. The entire structure took about an year to engineer but only about a week to build.
