This elegant home are designed by Hughes Umbanhowar Architects and located at River Road house in Sewall’s Point, Florida. The 12,300-square-foot house, completed in 2008, is a complex composition, which resembles the paintings of Georges Braque, in which geometric shapes appear and disappear in a constant dance of illusion and materiality.
The house has a series of distinct but interrelated volumes joined by a straight longitudinal axis transparent. Positive volumes are balanced over the negative, creating a tension and intrigue. The throughway glass skin connects and distinguishes the two volumes dominant, or towers, capturing light and increasing the feeling of inner capaciousness.
Exterior glass, limestone, stucco and rough mahogany, enhance and anchor that could otherwise be a cacophony of different ways. Moreover, this house are have bright color interior that make them looks more luxurious.
